There’s something about the combination of peaches and cream that make me so happy, but in an effort to make it suitable for breakfast or a mid-day snack, I’ve made it healthier with a blended mixture of frozen fruit and plain greek yogurt. But don’t worry, this clean eating recipe is refreshing, tasty, and totally hits the spot!
Healthy Peach Smoothie Ingredients
- 1 heaping cup frozen peach slices
- half frozen banana
- ⅓ cup plain greek yogurt
- ¼ cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
- ¼ cup orange juice (or water)
Servings: 1 | Calories: 260
Simply blend everything together in a high quality blender until smooth. I like to start with ¼ cup almond milk and add more milk, juice, or water as needed until I get my desired consistency.
A refreshing breakfast or healthy snack!
Helpful Tips & Variations
- Want to make this smoothie more indulgent? Replace the plain greek yogurt with vanilla yogurt or ice cream! A little whipped cream never hurt either.
- Want to lower the calories? Replace the orange juice with water and use fat free plain greek yogurt.
- Don’t have frozen banana on hand? No problem! The frozen banana helps add to the creamy texture but you can use a regular banana and lessen the amount of liquid, or forget about the banana altogether. You might want to add some sweetener such as honey in its place.
